Many of you have asked. YES here is still a work session tonight for the city council regarding facts surrounding the golf course. At my last conversation with the prospective new owner he does plan to attend and make a few comments during the public forum. (subject to change).

Please plan to attend, I would like to meet you. If you can not attend the meeting it will be on channel 15 if you have cable and streamed live on the city web site. The public is allow to speak for 3 minutes during the public forum. (you have to sign up) But it is not a discussion. So please do not expect a back and fourth.

Please do not mob the potential new owner. Better to pass him a note or business card. I know from discussions he plans to hold meetings for the members, residents and all that would like to have input and express their ideas. Lets give him time to do his due diligence, before we flood him with our thoughts.

Please visit and share my email and web site www.MarkScottRioRancho.org with your neighbors. There area all kinds of information, emails, letters, press releases as well as updates. In addition I send out emails to my golf course email list almost daily to keep everyone informed. (there are 16,000 voters in my district and only 1 of me) I have added your email to my list so I can keep you in the loop*.. Thanks for contacting me. Keep in touch.

Thank you

Chamisa Hills Golf and Country Club Update, Auction Day

UPDATE ON GOLF COURSE SALE

Today is the day the Golf Course is scheduled to sell. As you know the Golf Course is a private business running on private property and the City Of Rio Rancho is not directly involved in the sale.

After the successful sale the new owner will have 30 days to complete the sale. At that time we hope to hear from him and get an idea of his goals for the property, the clubhouse facility and the liquor license he will purchase along with all the other assets.

We hope for a win-win and I offer my help in bringing the community together so the property can once again be a centerpiece for the community.

Please look over all the other notes and letters on the golf course matter on this web site. I will keep updating as time allows and information comes in. You will see respective tabs above for each section:

Drop me an email and I will put you on my email list specifically for golf course news and updates. Have a great day.

HE PLANS TO INFUSE MORE MONEY INTO THE STRUGGLING GOLF COURSE. BUT IN
