Rio Rancho DPS Gets New Wheels

Feb. 13, 2013: Ready for delivery: badly needed new vehicles 

for the Rio Rancho Police Department have arrived!

During Councilor Scott's campaign in 2012, he made it a point to do a couple of ride alongs with Rio Rancho's DPS. He did so because he wanted to experience first hand what our officers go through on a daily basis and to get a feel for what was needed to help out those who are the first line of defense for our city. One of the things that he became acutely aware of during these ride alongs was the need for better equipement.

On Feb. 13, 2013, a new batch of cars for our city's DPS arrived, awaiting delivery-it was a very proud moment for Councilor Scott to be able to see one of his campaign goals met. There is still much more work to do, but this is a very good start.
