Councilor Scott's Comments Re: Work Session for the Chamisa Hills Golf and Country Club

Neighbors,

First of all, a big thank you goes to the Mayor for calling the meeting,
the staff for putting it together, the neighbors that showed up in
support and for the possible new owner for coming forward and making
such a positive statement. As promised, I am still sending out emails on
the subject and when the new owner takes over the property I am assured
that he will send out updates that keep the updates public. We have
to just wait a little longer and hope that everything works out and the
process does not have to start over.

Last night's meeting was video taped, and like all the meetings of the
Governing body it is available on the city web site under meetings and

Please know, that I copy all the emails to everyone that has asked to be

Please keep positive, please let the process unfold and please consider
getting actively involved. Not only in the golf course , but the city,
so we can make it a better place for everyone.
