First Fridays with Mark

District 4 City Councilor and Deputy Mayor Mark Scott will hold his next citizen meeting as part of his “First Fridays with Mark” series on Friday, Aug. 2.

On the first Friday of each month, Councilor Scott is at Café Connection from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., and encourages District 4 residents and citizens of Rio Rancho at-large to join him for lunch or a cup of coffee.

The guest speaker at the Aug. 2nd meeting will be Carl Harper, president of the Rio Rancho Public Schools Board, to spend the first half of the meeting discussing the new school A to F grading system”. The second part of the hour will be open to any general comments and suggestions to help make the city better.
