Addendum to the Chamisa Hills Country Club
These are some additional points to the original post in regards to the "Saving Chamisa Hills Country Club":
My understanding is that the Golf Course /Country Club had 1000 Members when the population of our city was 40,000 people-the population today is more than double that. With that in mind, what is the membership number today? I do not know how many members have left and how many have joined. I can't help but wonder how the marketing practices have effected the numbers, and how does the current condition of the entire property affect the decision of any prospective members. As I mentioned in the previous post, I have been a resident for quite some time in District 4-in fact, for more than 18 years, I have lived less than a 1/4 mile from the Chamisa Hills Country Club. Not once in those 18 years have I been solicited by the Chamisa Hills Country Club for membership, let alone been informed of the benefits of becoming a member.
